Have you ever seen something so beautiful and elegant that you had to stop and take it in before nature takes it away? These images are the product of such a moment. How does nature do it? Every spring and if we're lucky, summer, flowers of all sorts of colors start to make their appearance. Each seed holds within something that will become the center of attention for a few weeks. During those days, people dress their children in vibrant colors and try their best to take the perfect picture in front of a nature-given background. It's a pretty neat concept up until people and kids start walking on them or yanking them from the ground. It's like my mom used to say to me, "puedes mirar, pero no tocar," which translates to, "you can look, but you can't touch." Maybe I should help the flower population by saying this when I witness such disrespect. Times are tough, I guess. I still think we should let them grow into what they're meant to be. Let flowers gift us with the color palettes that only they know how to make. Just let them dream.
